1Information We Collect & Google OAuth Integration

To provide a seamless, secure experience, ExpenseGrip uses Google OAuth as the primary authentication mechanism. When you choose to sign up or log in using your Google Account, we request access only to your basic public profile information:

  • Email Address: Used as your unique account identifier, for sending order receipts, and linking your purchased e-books to your permanent digital library.
  • Full Name: Used to personalize your account experience and generate purchase receipts.
  • Profile Picture URL: Used solely to display your avatar in the navigation header while signed in.
Strict Scope Limitations: We never request access to your Google Drive files, Gmail messages, contact lists, calendar events, or any sensitive Google scopes. Our access is strictly limited to authenticating your identity.

2How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for legitimate business purposes:

Authenticating access to your personal “My Library” page.
Generating unique secure download tokens for purchased PDFs.
Preventing fraudulent orders and maintaining account security.
Providing direct order fulfillment and email customer support.

3Payment Security & Financial Information

All payments on ExpenseGrip are securely handled through Razorpay, an RBI-authorized and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway.

  • ExpenseGrip never stores, views, or processes your full credit card number, debit card number, CVV code, UPI PIN, or internet banking passwords.
  • All payment transactions are encrypted using end-to-end 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption managed directly by Razorpay.
  • We only receive an encrypted payment confirmation ID and transaction timestamp to unlock your digital product download.

4Zero Third-Party Data Selling

We uphold a strict zero-compromise privacy commitment: ExpenseGrip does NOT sell, rent, monetize, trade, or lease your personal information, email address, or usage patterns to any third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.

Your data is only shared with trusted technical infrastructure providers (such as Supabase for database hosting and Razorpay for payment processing) strictly as necessary to deliver our digital marketplace service.

5Data Retention, Deletion & Your Rights

You maintain full ownership and control over your personal data:

  • Account Deletion: You can request full deletion of your user profile and associated personal data at any time.
  • Data Access & Export: You can request a summary of your account activity and order history.
  • Revoking Google Access: You can revoke ExpenseGrip’s authorization at any time directly through your Google Account Security Settings.
